Pisces-Virgo Eclipse Story Begins
How to survive this eclipse season.
By the time you’re reading this, the first eclipse on the Pisces-Virgo has taken place on September 18, 2024. What happened? How did your eclipse story begin?
As an astrologer, I am not a fan of scare tactics and *I know* people can get really worried about what might happen during an eclipse.
Eclipses have a reputation for creating life shake-ups or even removing things we’ve grown to rely on or feel comfortable with. When you read that change is heading your way it’s easy to expect the worst, but trust that whatever changes these eclipses bring to you are truly for your highest and best interest in the long run.
How to Survive an Eclipse
What are you clinging to so tightly because you’re afraid there will be nothing to take it’s place? Where are you having a hard time believing there could be something *better* out there for you?
When I think back to the winter of 2022-23, I was feeling anxious about the changes the Aries-Libra eclipse cycle would bring to my life.
I was terrified that the Aries-Libra eclipse story would lead to chaos in my business and relationship, or worse, the ending of both. I tried to keep a positive attitude and not live in fear of an astrological transit (as I coach all of my clients to do)… yet when the first eclipse on that axis came around I was just finishing moving out of my business and life partner’s home.
From where I am now I know it was the absolute best thing that could have happened to me. I wish current me could go back to Ash in the winter of 2022 and tell her everything that has happened and to just let go of my death grip on life.
And I would also tell her to keep going with the visioning techniques I was practicing that allowed me to navigate that transition gracefully and peacefully.
In the months leading up to the eclipse that coincided with my business and life partner break-up, I’d started implementing what would become my 4-Step Creative Visioning Process.
It was during that time that I allowed myself to begin imagining fun and low key dating experiences with someone other than my life partner. I felt somewhat ashamed for these daydreams at the time, but the truth is that I had to first believe in the possibility of something else being out there for me in order to clear space for it to enter.
I was scared for a significant chapter in my life to end, but with my Creative Visioning process I opened myself up to new possibilities and every chapter that has unfolded on this eclipse story has led me closer to what I truly want and truly envisioned for myself in relationships.
Yes, eclipses do sometimes bring shake-ups to our lives. But when you’re clear on YOUR vision, you can trust that those shake-ups are bringing you closer to what is meant for you (even if something must be removed in order for you to receive it).
Pisces-Virgo Axis Themes
With the eclipse on September 18, 2024, we are beginning a new eclipse story even though we’re not quite finished with the Aries-Libra eclipse story that began April 20, 2023.
While the Aries-Libra axis tends to bring our focus to relationships, partnerships, independence, plans of attack, love, war and justice, the Virgo-Pisces axis illuminates very different themes.
In general, the Virgo-Pisces axis will illuminate themes of service, communication, details, spirituality, imagination, reality, storytelling, creativity, health, pets, and religion.

Pisces-Virgo Eclipse Cycle
The first place you might look for clues to what this eclipse cycle might bring for you is the past. What happened the last time we had eclipses on the Virgo-Pisces axis?
The last time we had eclipses in Pisces and Virgo:
March 20, 2015 - Solar Eclipse at 29° Pisces
September 13, 2015 - Solar Eclipse at 20° Virgo
March 9, 2016 - Solar Eclipse at 18° Pisces
September 1, 2016 - Solar Eclipse at 9° Virgo
September 16, 2016 - Lunar Eclipse at 24° Pisces
February 26, 2017 - Solar Eclipse at 8° Pisces
Of course there are many factors at play, so the events of this eclipse story will not be exactly that same as what took place between 2015-2017. Pay attention to the larger themes (and see how they line up with your rising sign themes later in this post).
I know for me, the eclipses that took place between 2015-2017 were a time of a lot of change in my career. I went from cobbling together multiple freelancing gigs to getting my dream full-time position at the beginning of 2017 (which makes sense because my Midheaven—a placement related to career—is in Pisces).
This time around the eclipses will happen on:
September 18, 2024 - Lunar Eclipse at 25° Pisces
March 14, 2025 - Lunar Eclipse at 23° Virgo
September 7, 2025 - Lunar Eclipse at 15° Pisces
September 21, 2025 — Solar Eclipse at 29° Virgo
March 3, 2026 - Lunar Eclipse at 12° Virgo
August 28, 2026 - Lunar Eclipse at 4° Pisces
February 20, 2027 - Lunar Eclipse at 2° Virgo
Aries-Libra Eclipse Cycle
While the Virgo-Pisces eclipse cycle begins on September 18, we are not finished with the Aries-Libra eclipse cycle yet. This story continues into 2025, and there are two chapters left before it is completed!

April 20, 2023 - Solar Eclipse 29° Aries
October 14, 2023 - Solar Eclipse 21° Libra
March 25, 2024 - Lunar Eclipse 5° Libra
April 8, 2024 - Solar Eclipse 19° Aries
October 2, 2024 - Solar Eclipse 10° Libra
March 20, 2025 - Solar Eclipse 9° Aries
You can expect some new beginnings to pop up as a result of the clearing you did earlier in this eclipse story. What did you have to let go of? What were you scared to let go of? What is coming in to take its place? How did you have to change in order to allow this to arrive?
